Ing. Michal Kucej was born in Zvolen in 1978. In 2001 he graduated from the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, specifically from the Faculty of Materials and Technology in Trnava in the field of Engineering Production Technology with a specialization in welding. Immediately after graduation in 2001 he joined Chropynska Slovakia a. s. ( former name PPS TSN s.r.o. ), where he has been working ever since. He started as a programmer of NC machines in the CAD/CAM department, which he has been actively leading since 2006. In 2008, he moved to the head of the tool design department, where he worked until 2011, when he was promoted to an executive position as Vice President with responsibility for the sales, design and production department. He led turnkey projects for ( Skoda, Mladá Boleslav ) chassis build for Skoda Fabia and Rapid Spaceback in cooperation with Chropyňská strojírna in 2012 and also a large project for BMW for welding of M3 and 35up 4WD axles in 2013. Since the beginning of 2013 he has been working as the Director of Engineering Division at Chropynska Slovakia a. s. He actively communicates in English and German, which he uses when communicating with our customers. The main tasks of Ing. Michal Kuceja include leading the Engineering Division team, which includes design, planning, robotics and automation, as well as developing the sales and marketing strategy. He bases the growth of his team on young graduates from vocational schools with an emphasis on creative and critical thinking, and on excellent technical and professional knowledge
Ing. Rastislav Ridzoň was born in Banská Bystrica in 1975. He graduated from the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in 1999. During his studies at the university he started to work as a programmer in the company Gratex International. His career after graduation from the university started by joining Chropynska Slovakia a. s. ( former name PPS TSN s.r.o. ), where he worked for the first years as a designer of machines and equipment, then as a project manager and later in 2010 – 2012 as a technical director. In 2012, after the entry of Chropyňska strojirna a.s., the new management nominated him to manage the project of a new welding line in the plant (VW Group in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia). He worked in that position until 2014. In the same year he joined Valiant TMS Olomouc, where he worked as Production and Assembly Manager. He also pursued new opportunities in the field of cooperation and purchasing. In 2018, he returned to Chropynska Slovakia a. s., where he works as Director of the Production Division. He actively communicates in English, which he uses when communicating with our business partners. In his work, he makes full use of the acquired know-how and enjoys constant new challenges. He cares about building the satisfaction of existing customers and enjoys establishing long-term cooperation with new customers.
Ing. Juraj Čapek, PhD. , was born in Trencin in 1975.
In 1998 he graduated from the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, specifically from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Bratislava in the field of Applied Mechanics.
After graduation in 1999 he joined KUKA Enco Werkzeugbau s.r.o., where he started as a CAD designer, in 2000 he went to the parent company KUKA Systems(Augsburg, Germany) to the virtual simulation department, where he was responsible for the simulation of automated lines on projects for major OEMs. In 2008 he moved to project management for OEMs, where he was responsible for the management of KUKA Systems projects for the ŠKODA Auto.
In 2011, he joined Matador Group a.s., where he founded and started a new industrial automation division in the Group, as Division Director. After five successful years of building the division and implementing a large number of projects for global automotive companies, in 2016 he transformed the Industrial Automation Division into a separate company Matador Automation s.r.o., where he served as CEO until 2023. Under his leadership, the company has become a respected player in the field of industrial automation for global automotive manufacturers. The implemented projects ranged from 20-40 million Euro, the internal team of the company consisted of more than 200 colleagues.
From January 2024 he became part of the CHROPYNSKA Group after joined Chropynska Slovakia a.s., where he is responsible for building a new Bussines Unit E-mobilty Trencin. This new division is strategically involved in the automation of the production of batteries and various components for the rapidly growing global market of E-mobilty in automotive plants.
Mr. Capek actively communicates in German and English, which it uses in daily technical and commercial dealings with our customers. In building the entrusted division, he places a huge emphasis on innovation, flexibility, and the creation of clear and strong processes in information systems. It also focuses on the complete digitalization of the company with an emphasis on the sustainability of all processes towards the environment and long-term relationships with our customers.
Ing. Matej Kretík was born in Trencin in 1989.
In 2014 he graduated from the University of Economics in Bratislava, specializing in International Business. Later, he completed several postgraduate study programs with a focus on Business and Foreign Languages at different universities in Europe.
During his studies he worked as a Project and Sales Manager for an internationally operating company in the construction industry. In this position he managed turnkey projects in various countries in Europe. He worked in this position until 2019.
Since the beginning of 2019, he has worked as a Business Manager and Business Development Manager for an internationally operating automation company, in the division – Factory Automation, focusing on automation of manufacturing, assembly and logistics processes for TIER1-2 as well as OEMs. In this position he covered the complete Sales Management within the division. From 2023, he moved to the position of Sales Director with responsibility for sales development also in the Industry Automation division focusing on Body-in-White for OEMs.
In Chropynska Slovakia he has been working as Head of Sales since 2024. In this position he is responsible for the Sales Management of the technical solutions portfolio also within the newly established Business Unit E-Mobility in Trencin.
He actively communicates in English, German, Italian and Russian.
The main responsibilities of Matej Kretik include Business Development and Sales Management of Chropynska Group’s technical solutions, with an emphasis on the development of long-term or existing partnerships, as well as building prospective and new customers.
